Want to go Fishing
I want to go fishing I want to go camping, I want to ride a bike, I want to run, I want to Snuggle with my wife, I want to hangout with my kids, sit by a fire, cook a good meal, hangout with good friends, do stupid stuff and act like a kid, breath fresh air, be my sons hero and my daughters prince. I want to be the leader of my house and a follower of Christ. Life is crazy so much to do that is real world stuff and so much to do that can be fun. I am at a crossroad where I have life to live and I need to just get out and live it. We have parties to go to and friends that want to go camping Christmas gifts that need to be made work that never goes away we always feel pulled in so many ways and I think that no matter what we do we are always going to feel stretched thin unless we learn to slow down and breath and focus on what is important which is enjoying life and who we are with no matter what we are doing or who we are with. And to remember that Jesus loves us and wants us to enjoy life and everything that comes with it! It is the Simple Junk that can make us to busy to breath or so happy and full of life! I am going to try to do as many things on my list this week and weekend and enjoy every bit of it that I can! I'll let ya'll know how it goes!

65th
Today is my dad's 65th birthday! He has done a lot of things in his life, he was born, he played baseball since the second day of his life (his dad thought day one was a little to young), he won the Pony League World Series, he graduated high school and college both and played baseball through both, he played minor league ball until he didn't anymore. He married his beautiful wife my mom and worked their way through so many years it is to hard to count and continue to fight their way to being best friends to this day! He has helped raise two bratty kids the best he has known how. The bottom line is that he has worked everyday to the best of his ability, has he done everything perfect? No, but he has worked at it no matter how hard it has seemed to even take the first step. The bottom line is that I don't know anyone that has the same work ethic or drive that my Dad has. Dad Thanks for living life! A life full of love, mistakes, hurtles, wins, and hard work!
Happy Birthday Dad!

Good Stuff
This Weekend was great I spent the whole weekend with my 3 best friends, "my Wifey and 2 kiddos". Now I just need to remind myself of that in the moments where I am tired and impatient. But, anyway we spent most of the weekend together doing craft projects snuggling on the couch, watching Harry Potter movies, eating great homemade food(thanks J Lou), and going for Scout rides. And also I snuck off and participated in a triathlon and yes I was not totally prepared for it and yes I had to talk trash to myself to get me out of the door at 5 a.m.. But I freakin did it and I am so happy that I did. Guys whoever you are that are out there reading this blog and I know that there are not many of ya'll but please join Johnna and I in praying for our community The Brookwood Community we need people to come here and serve God by loving on adults with disabilities. Thanks Ya'll!

First Day Back To School!
Well the kids are back in school and it is fantastic in so many ways! Dang they are so happy to be around their old friends and making new ones. I am so proud of them and how they are just so comfortable in a classroom setting and being around people and just so dang social it is awesome! And something that I really give credit to living in this amazing community filled with 105 adults with special needs they are all their aunts and uncles and friends and brothers and sisters! It is so unique and amazing and does so many great things for my whole family I love it! Thank You Brookwood! I am so happy because I now have a few minutes to run and think and pray and breath for myself. And I spent the day catching up with some old friends at noodle house, Good Stuff! I also get to go on some day time dates with my fantastic wife or just catch a cup of coffee with her on our front porch just some time to be with her, She is amazing and I love her in the small and large moments! And then when it is time for the kids to come home it is time to celebrate with and get excited about all the knowledge that they soaked up that day and all the great times that they shared with their friends, awesome love the first day of school! So thankful!

Long Time Gone
So I have not blogged in a while? I don't really know why, I guess it is because I am lazy. But here are the things I want to update on in the next couple of days, The Kids, The Tree House, The Scout, Life in general. The simple junk is really what twists life into a complicated mess. So I am trying to keep the junk from twisting and messing up and complicating the beautiful thing called life. We will see.
