65th

Today is my dad's 65th birthday! He has done a lot of things in his life, he was born, he played baseball since the second day of his life (his dad thought day one was a little to young), he won the Pony League World Series, he graduated high school and college both and played baseball through both, he played minor league ball until he didn't anymore. He married his beautiful wife my mom and worked their way through so many years it is to hard to count and continue to fight their way to being best friends to this day! He has helped raise two bratty kids the best he has known how. The bottom line is that he has worked everyday to the best of his ability, has he done everything perfect? No, but he has worked at it no matter how hard it has seemed to even take the first step. The bottom line is that I don't know anyone that has the same work ethic or drive that my Dad has. Dad Thanks for living life! A life full of love, mistakes, hurtles, wins, and hard work!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Good Stuff

This Weekend was great I spent the whole weekend with my 3 best friends, "my Wifey and 2 kiddos". Now I just need to remind myself of that in the moments where I am tired and impatient. But, anyway we spent most of the weekend together doing craft projects snuggling on the couch, watching Harry Potter movies, eating great homemade food(thanks J Lou), and going for Scout rides. And also I snuck off and participated in a triathlon and yes I was not totally prepared for it and yes I had to talk trash to myself to get me out of the door at 5 a.m.. But I freakin did it and I am so happy that I did. Guys whoever you are that are out there reading this blog and I know that there are not many of ya'll but please join Johnna and I in praying for our community The Brookwood Community we need people to come here and serve God by loving on adults with disabilities. Thanks Ya'll!
